The CHAMP Packer is a hookwall-type retrievable packer for drill stem testing service or other downhole operation. The CHAMP Packer is improved from RTTS Packer. Compared with RTTS Packer,the CHAMP Packer has a concentric bypass. The CHAMP Packer has the capability of circulating below the packer and other parts have the same function as RTTS Packer.
Each CHAMP Packer is composed by J-Slot mechanism, Mechanical Slips, Packer Element, Hydraulic slips etc.
